Who is the Radical when dealing with the Federal Government

In the 1990's the Clinton administration came out with all guns blazing, (pardon the pun), in its efforts to legislate and regulate our right to bear arms. These efforts, including the Brady bill to limit automatic weapons, had the full support of the liberal left and the United Nations. Up until this point I had never owned a gun. However, the full frontal assault on our constitution by these forces woke me up. I realized any attack on one amendment, in this case the 2nd, would open the door to war on the entire document. So, I went out and bought a Colt 45 M1911, learned how to use it, got my concealed carry permit and joined the NRA. That was my statement in support of our God given rights; not government given, but God given. To some, these actions made me a radical. In my opinion, it was the Clinton people who had turned radical in their attempt to breach our constitution.

Flash forward to the Bush years with no assault on our rights until the Patriot Act, a supposedly temporary response to the tragic events of 9/11. And now, there's the Obama administration with support from our spineless Congress attacking our rights. In addition to the continuing assault on guns by Obama with support from the United Nations, NY Mayor Bloomberg and world wide financier George Soros, they continue the war on our rights in other ways. As examples of this, consider the continuation of the Patriot Act and passage of the NDAA(National Defense Authorization Act) allowing the military to arrest citizens in this country on suspicion of terrorist leanings and detain them indefinitely with no due process. Then there's Obamacare which will force all to pay for it and abide by the government's rules on birth control and abortion. There is more, but you get the drift.

As you and I continue to speak out and stand up for our country and constitution, I ask who is really radical, us or the government. I believe we all know the answer and it ain't us.
