It never ceases to amaze me...Most politicians running for office will say anything; take any position, to get my vote. Example..."I am Pro-choice"..But now, I'm Pro-Life. Huh?? Although I agree with the current Pro-Life stance(gives me warm fuzzies), I want to know what the life changing epiphany was that caused the new position. Did God speak to you...Did you see pictures of a living fetus..heartbeat, brainwaves..to make you understand life begins at conception? Or did your chief campaign adviser show you the latest poll showing most conservatives, of which you claim to be one, are Pro-Life? I am not against you being able to change your mind..that's something a true leader may have to do. But I am against pandering to gain votes. So..convince me....Make me understand you are truly conservative and not an acrobat doing flip-flops. If I want to see that, I'll go to the circus, not the voting booth.

Agreed! I do have one question though. When you refer to the circus are you refering to Barnum and Bailey or Washington D.C.?

Like " I'm gonna close Gitmo"? Or " I voted against the war in Afganistan" NOW I'm sending more troops? Both Parties will say anything to get elected. Perhaps a 3rd party would do better.
Obvious both parties are clones with few exceptions...Tell the citizens what they think we want to hear..Then do what they want anyway, even if it means taking our rights from us(Patriot Act, NDAA, etc).
